Sanikalu

The bride is adorned with a short necklace of black beads (nalla pusalu) and a decorative flat grindstone called Sanikalu, which is embellished with turmeric paste and kumkum and is placed next to the Homam.

The process concludes with the bride’s toes being adorned with magnificent silver toe rings, symbolizing the everlasting link of love and companionship.
